Wield Item.
Requires: 1 Obscure Wealth
Deal 1 additional Damage for any Spell Ability used while Wielding this Item.
Flavors (Choose 1):
- Wand or Staff. No change.
- Amulet. Half the Distance the Spell can target at, but you can wear it instead of Wielding it to gain its benefits.
Item Search Tiers:
- [..6] You gain no item.
- [7..] C: You gain the item.
- [10..] A: You can add 1 Upgrade.
- [10!] S: Instead, you can add 2 Upgrades.
Upgrades:
- Infused.
- Innocuous.
- The Magic Weapon looks like an everyday object or stick and is hidden from divination that would reveal it to be magical. Only those who have seen you cast a Spell will know it to be a Magic Weapon.
- Long Range.
- Increase the range of Spells as follows:
- Summonable.
- Everyone nearby gains the following Ability:
Time: Action Target: A Summonable Magic Weapon not being worn or held within Throwing Distance(8u)
Requires: Knowing at least one Spell Ability
Effect: Utility
You can call the Summonable Magic Weapon to fly into your hand, making it Wielded.
- Twisted.
Time: Action Target: The Vanishing Magic Weapon Wielded or a Vanishing Magic Weapon that you previously caused to vanish.
Requires: Knowing at least one Spell Ability
Effect: Utility
You can cause the Vanishing Magic Weapon to vanish, popping it out of existence. Alternatively, you can recall a Vanishing Magic Weapon that you previously caused to vanish. When recalling, the Vanishing Magic Weapon becomes Wielded or, if you are already Wielding something, it falls to the ground nearby.
- War.
- This weapon also counts as a Melee Weapon with one Melee Weapon Upgrade (which has no effect on Magic Attacks.)
- You can ignore the "Close Combat" penalty on Spells while Wielding this weapon.
