Subtle Cast
Time: Passive
When casting a Spell, you can spend a stack of Subtle to empower the Spell to:
- Ignore a #Chants Requirement.
- Lower the Spell's Noise from Loud to Noisy, from Noisy to Quiet, or from Quiet to Silent.
- Cast the Spell as if you had one less stack of Choked.
You can repeat the above exchange for as many Subtle stacks as you have.
Note: Hiding your spellcasting
Since Subtlety Skill Tests are used to determine if someone sees you use an Ability, this Ability can help you cast a Spell Ability without getting caught.
If the Spell specifically states that the target will know, then this Ability cannot help you avoid detection as described by the Ability.
If a target takes Damage, you will lose your Hidden status and the target will know it was you.
