Armor
Apparel Item (Body). Buff effect.
Requires: 1 General Wealth
NOTE: You don't need armor! Armor is a trade-off, as it comes with downsides. This trade-off is worst for magic users.
You can put on the armor as a Montage.
While wearing your armor, gain the following effects:
- Protected. Your Shield Max goes up by 2.
- Clinking. You must make all Sneaking Skill Tests while within True Shooting Distance(16u) of an NPC (instead of a Shooting Distance(16u)) provided the NPC can hear you.
- Dull. Reduce your Tuning by 1 for all Ability Tests.
- Metallic. Gain a weakness:
Shock Weakness
When hit with Shock Damage, gain a stack of Stunned.
Flavors (Choose 1):
- Full.
- While wearing armor, you can reduce all incoming Fluid Damage by 1 before applying it.
- Grounded.
- Remove the "Metallic" effect. You insulate your armor or learn to use natural armors made of magically hardened wood, leather, etc.
- Gain Resistance to Shock Damage.
- Heavy.
- Increase your Shield Max by 1 again.
- Insulated.
- Gain Resistance to Fire Damage and Ice Damage.
- Leather.
- Remove the "Clinking" effect. This leather or studded leather still protects without the loud clinking noises.
- Plate.
- While wearing armor, you can reduce all incoming Solid Damage by 1 before applying it.
