When casting a Spell Ability, you can make it's spell afterimage or aura look like you cast a different Spell Ability, provided you know that other Spell Ability.
You gain the following Action:
Decrypt Magic
Time: Action Target: The afterimage or aura of a Spell Ability
Test: Tuning
You attempt to uncover any Cryptoarcanology used on a Spell Ability's afterimage or aura. On a Passing Score you learn if anyone altered the afterimage or aura and what the true Spell Ability was.
Upgrades:
- Spellblinding.
- When casting a Spell Ability, you can make it have no afterimage or detectable aura.
- When using Appendix/Abilities/Basic Abilities/OLD/Investigate, you can learn of the presence of any spells hidden by this Ability, but you will not know where they were cast or what Spells they were.
