Upgrade

An Upgrade provides options for improving an Ability in some way. Any number of unlocked Upgrades can be applied with each use of the Ability, unless the Upgrade says otherwise. When using an Ability, you are not required to apply an Upgrade that you have chosen unless otherwise stated.

Upgrades are often rewarded when you gain a Level or when you choose certain Perks.

Prestige Upgrades are among the most powerful upgrades. They often grant character-defining capabilities that are not possible to attain in any other way.
