Any Perk marked as 'Advanced' cannot be taken unless you have 5 other Perks from the same category.

:LiSquareAsterisk: - Perks marked with this icon are Advanced Perks that can be taken after you have taken 5 Basic Perks in the same category.

Some Perks can be taken multiple times. The number of times you can take each perk is shown by the number of :LiCheckSquare:s or :LiSquareAsterisk:s next to it.


Level Perks

You can gain one Level Perk each time you Level Up.

:LiCheckSquare::LiCheckSquare: Social Stat +1 (max 4).

Permanently improve one Social Stat of your choice by 1. It's Modifier cannot exceed +4 from this Perk.

:LiSquareAsterisk: Social Stat +1 (max 5).

Permanently improve one Social Stat of your choice by 1. It's Modifier cannot exceed +5 from this Perk.

:LiCheckSquare: Exploration Stat +1 (max 3).

Permanently improve one Exploration Stat of your choice by 1. Its Modifier cannot exceed +3 from this Perk.

:LiSquareAsterisk::LiSquareAsterisk: Exploration Stat +1 (max 4).

Permanently improve one Exploration Stat of your choice by 1. Its Modifier cannot exceed +4 from this Perk.

:LiCheckSquare::LiCheckSquare: :LiSquareAsterisk::LiSquareAsterisk: Social Upgrade

Gain 1 Upgrade on a Social Ability of your choice.

:LiCheckSquare: Knowledge Skill +1 and Perception or Covert Skill +1

Gain an Improvement in a Knowledge Skill of your choice. Also gain an Improvement in a Perception Skill or Covert Skill of your choice.

:LiSquareAsterisk: 2 Knowledge Skills +1 and 2 Perception or Covert Skills +1

Gain an Improvement two Knowledge Skills of your choice. Also gain two Improvements in Perception Skill or Covert Skills of your choice.

:LiCheckSquare: Luck Stat +2

Increase your Luck Stat Modifier by 2.

:LiSquareAsterisk: Social Skill Improvement

Gain an Improvement in one Social Skill of your choice.

:LiCheckSquare: Recoveries +2

Increase the maximum number of Recoveries that you can bank. Whenever you start a new Episode, your Recoveries will reset to this new, higher number.

:LiSquareAsterisk: Retire to safety at the end of the Episode

At the end of the Episode, if your Player Character is still alive, they can retire to safety. The GM can no longer kill them without your permission, but you also will no longer play them, unless the GM asks you to. Let the GM know if they have your permission to play the character, should the moment arise.
Make a new Player Character to play in the next Episode.


Fighter Perks

You can gain a Fighter Perk each time you take a Level in the Fighter Archetype.

Increase your Fighter Stat Modifier by 1. Also increase your Grit Save Modifier by 1.

Permanently increase your General Wealth Skill and Fine Wealth Skill Modifiers by 1. Also gain ₲1 General Good and ₲1 Fine Good.

:LiCheckSquare::LiCheckSquare: Vitality +1

Increase your maximum Vitality by 1.

:LiSquareAsterisk: Vitality +1 and 1 Minor Damage Resistance

Increase your maximum Vitality by 1. Also gain Resistance to a Minor Damage Type of your choosing. (The chosen Resistance should make sense with your character.)

You can gain a Rogue Perk each time you take a Level in the Rogue Archetype.

Increase your Rogue Stat Modifier by 1. Also increase your Edge Save Modifier by 1.

Permanently increase your Grey Wealth Skill and Fine Wealth Skill Modifiers by 1. Also gain ₲1 Grey Good and ₲1 Fine Good.

Increase your lowest Save Modifier by 1.

Gain a Rogue Upgrade on an Ability of your choice.
Tip: The Rogue Upgrades on the Ranged Attack Ability are a good starting point.

Gain an Item Upgrade on an Item of your choice. You do not need to have the Item on you to take its Upgrade. This Upgrade represents an increase in your skill with that Item.
Tip: Upgrading the Lockpick and Poison items are a great first step.


Mage Perks

You can gain a Mage Perk each time you take a Level in the Mage Archetype.
