Melee Weapon
Wield Item.
Requires: 1 General Wealth
Wield to modify your Melee Attack by increasing its Damage by 1 and changing it's Damage Type based on your chosen Flavor. Each Melee Attack can only be affected by 1 Wield Item at a time.
In the same way, you can also modify your Ranged Attack. If you do, you become disarmed of the weapon until you can go and pick it up again.
Flavors (Choose 1):
- Blunt. Solid/Blunt Damage.
- Sharp. Solid/Sharp Damage.
- Custom. With GM approval, you may be able to choose another Damage Type.
Item Search Tiers:
- [..6] You gain no item.
- [7..] C: You gain the item.
- [10..] A: You can add 1 Upgrade.
- [10!] S: You can add a second Upgrade.
- Chain. Targets cannot use their Take Cover against your Melee Attack.
- Magical. Common Weakness of ethereal beings.
- Piercing. If you ever only deal damage to a target's Shield, you may also deal 1 damage directly to their Health, provided that their Health is not already at 0.
- Pry. The Melee Attack Forced Entry Penalties does not apply (A Forced Entry is Noisy instead of Loud.)
- Reach. Can make a Melee Attack from Spitting Distance.
- Silver. Common Weakness of shapeshifters.
- Sweeping. With a Passing Score, you can also deal 1 Damage of your Flavor's type to another creature within Melee Attack range of you.
