Magic socks.

When held to dangle, these socks will drift slightly to point in the direction of their mate.

If either sock is destroyed, the magic is lost and this sock becomes an ordinary sock without a mate.

• [10..] A: You gain a special pair of socks. If you and another creature wear one sock each, you can speak telepathically with one another at any distance.
