Covenmate
Time: Passive

You are a member of a Coven. Give the coven a name, if it does not already have one, and create gives names to two other members of the Coven, one that is more friendly and one that is more antagonistic toward you.
Once a member of a Coven, you leave or be kicked out in any way, even through death.
You gain the following Abilities:
Time: Slow Action Target: Your Covenmates
Effect: Buff
You call upon your Covenmates to lend you their magic.
Choose a Spell or Upgrade that you do not currently have. You will gain that Spell or Upgrade until the end of the Episode.
At the start of the next Episode, you will need to choose a Spell or Upgrade that you know. The Spell or Upgrade is then unavailable to you for the rest of that Episode.

- [..6] You get no response. Additionally, each time you get this Score you will gain the following effects one at a time, in-order:
- [7..9] Your more antagonistic Covenmate answers the call. They will answer your questions to the best of their knowledge, but may leave out some important details.
- [10..] Your more friendly Covenmate answers the call They will answer your questions as best of their knowledge.
If you get an answer, you can ask your Covenmate to come and help in-person. It can take up to an hour for them to arrive. After they help out, they may ask for something in return. If the help they provided put them in harms way, they may ask for a similarly dangerous task. (As a fallback, the GM can instead offer a choice between two Stats, with your chosen Stat getting a -1
penalty for the whole next Episode as your Covenmate borrows your skill in kind.)
Upgrades:
- Grand.
- You can add another Covenmate to your coven. Choose one of the following:
- Another antagonistic Covenmate. This adds a third Fail effect to the Coven Call Ability that takes effect before the others: Your newest antagonistic Covenmate is busy and cannot come to your aid for the rest of the Episode.
- Another friendly Covenmate. This adds a third Fail effect to the Coven Call Ability that takes effect after the others: Your newest friendly Covenmate is busy and cannot come to your aid for the rest of the Episode.
- Another Player Character, with their permission. You both gain the following Ability:
- You can add another Covenmate to your coven. Choose one of the following:

Trigger: The target starts a Spell Ability
The target Covenmate can immediately start a copy of the triggering Spell Ability that has the same setup choices as the first, including the same target and effect choices. This duplicate of the triggering Spell Ability does not cost the target Covenmate a Beat. For all other intents and purposes, both copies of the Spell Ability should be treated as separate uses of the Ability.

- Your Covenmates can teleport directly to you when you ask for their help.

You teleport to your Covenmate. Optionally, you can take any number of other Player Characters with you along with up to 2 other Non-Player Characters.
The GM determines where that Covenmate is and what situation they are currently in.
