Player

A person with a primary, Player Character that they are playing the role of. While the GM is technically playing the game with you, any time you see the term player in the rules or references, you should generally assume that refers to the players other than the GM.

This distinction will rarely matter in the Kleptonomicon, but it is a common distinction in TTRPGs and may matter for some Homebrew mechanics.
