Effect: Attack
Perform a Magic Attack. Its Damage Type and amount are altered by your chosen Flavor. Any Saves added by your chosen Flavor are modified by your Magic Attack Score.
Flavors (Choose 1):
- Acidic Bolt.
- Deals Solid/Caustic Damage.
- If the target has a Shield greater than 0, this Ability does 1 extra damage.
- If the target's Shield was already at 0, the target must Pass a Grit Save or gain 1 stack of Bloodied. A creature's Resistances and Immunities toward Solid/Caustic Damage also apply to the Bloodied Condition applied by this Flavor.
- Electric Bolt.
- Deals Fluid/Shock Damage.
- When using this Flavor you can ignore the "Close Combat" Penalty of Magic Attack.
- If the target's Shield is greater than 0, they must Pass an Edge Save or gain 1 stack of Stunned. A creature's Resistances and Immunities toward Fluid/Shock Damage also apply to the Stunned Condition applied by this Flavor.
- Fiery Bolt.
- Deals Fluid/Fire Damage.
- Flammable things are lit on fire if they are not being worn or held.
- A Fire Zone is created on the surface below the target, provided that they were not airborne. If a Shape Upgrade was used, all surfaces within the Shape become a Fire Zone.
- Alternatively, you can conjure and hold a flame in your hand hand without firing it at a target. It counts as a bright light. The flame can be dismissed as a Free Action.
- Frigid Bolt.
- Deals Fluid/Ice Damage.
- When using this Flavor you can ignore the "Close Combat" Penalty of Magic Attack.
- The target must Pass a Grit Save or gain 1 stack of Slowed.
- If you have the Amplified (3) Upgrade, a Creature killed by this Ability becomes fully frozen in place like a statue.
- Poisonous Bolt.
- Deals Fluid/Caustic Damage.
- If the target's Shield was already at 0, they must Pass a Grit Save or gain your choice of 2 stacks of Bloodied, 2 stack of Blunted, or 2 stack of Dazed. A creature's Resistances and Immunities toward Fluid/Caustic Damage also apply to the Status Conditions applied by this Flavor.
- Thunderous Bolt.
- Deals Fluid/Blunt Damage.
- Removes your Sneaky status and is Loud.
- If the target is made of inorganic material such as rocks, minerals, glass, or metal it begins to resonate and gains 2 stacks of Bloodied. These stacks of Bloodied can be cleared or prevented by inflicting a stack of the Choked on the target using a Spell Ability.
Upgrades:
- Chaotic.
- Lingering. Requires Level 7.
- Make the Test with Concentration. Gain benefits unique to each Flavor that last as long as you maintain Concentration:
- Acidic Bolt.
- Create a Toxic Zone on a surface below the target or covering surfaces within the Shape targeted.
- Electric Bolt.
- Create an Electrified Zone where the target was or covering the entire Shape hit.
- Fiery Bolt.
- Frigid Bolt.
- Poisonous Bolt.
- Create a Toxic Zone where the target was or covering the entire Shape hit.
- Thunderous Bolt.
- Targets hit by the Ability are Resonating. If a Resonating creatures uses Movement, they take 2 Fluid/Blunt Damage.
- Acidic Bolt.
- Make the Test with Concentration. Gain benefits unique to each Flavor that last as long as you maintain Concentration:
