Regardless of your Mage Stat Score, this Ability takes effect.
Control a patch of air within range. Wind or other effects created by this Ability will last until your Focus on the Ability is lost or a stronger wind effect suppresses this Ability. As an Action, you can dismiss or change the effect you chose without rerolling Focus. For example, you can move a flying creature a Swinging Distance per Action.
You can manipulate the targeted air in one of the following ways:
- Create Wind.
- You can create a strong wind in up to a 1u cube of air. Creatures that start their turn entirely within the wind or enter the wind on their turn must make a Fortitude Save or be pushed 1u in the direction of the wind. The wind's pushing effect is not strong enough to causes harm or to make a non-airborne creature airborne. Airborne creatures and Tiny or smaller creatures automatically fail the save. Pushing an airborne creature doesn't end any flying or levitating. Any object weighing 10 pounds or less that fits entirely within the wind is pushed 1u laterally, provided it is not being carried or held.
- Suppression.
- You can stop strong winds (or weaker) in an area up to a 2u cube.
- Animation.
- You can animate up to a 1u cube of air to create a harmless sensory effect (Examples: rustling leaves, slamming shutters, or billowing clothes.)
- Bubble.
- You causes a 1u diameter bubble of breathable air to stay centered around you or another creature of your choice. This is helpful for traveling underwater, through poisonous gas, or into a void or outer space. The air lasts up to 8 hours without being refreshed by touching fresh air. That time limit is halved for every creature sharing the bubble.
- Creation.
- The Air Bubble option becomes stronger:
You can create air bubbles that follow up to 5 creatures while they are within range. There is no longer a limit to how long you can breathe an air bubble.
- The Air Bubble option becomes stronger:
- Intensity. Requires Level 10.
- The Create Wind option can be made stronger:
You can create up to a 2u cube of wind. The distance creatures are pushed is doubled. The air manipulated by you can deal 2 Solid/Blunt Damage if the target is pushed into a solid surface.
- The Create Wind option can be made stronger:
- Redirection.
- Gain a prepared reaction:
Redirect ReactionReaction. 12u Range.
When an opponent uses a Ranged Action that deals Solid or Fluid damage you may inhibit their aim, giving them Disadvantage. If they roll a [..9], you can choose to have their attack hit a target within 1u of you instead.
